Villa Girardi is a family owned winery estabilished in 1986. It lies in the valley that joins San Pietro in Cariano and Fumane in the historical Classic Valpolicella wine region, in the north west of Verona.

The land is made of limestone and the climate is mild, necessary conditions to grow the local grape varieties: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara. The “Bure Alto” vineyard is located upon a hill where the grapes for the production of the most historical and typical wines of the region, besides the Valpolicella Classico, the Amarone and the Recioto, are cultivated.

This wine is made from 100% Tebbiano di Lugana. It's was aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
