Posis Collio Pinot Grigio

2006 Pale straw-yellow, with green hues. Notes of melon, citrus fruit and freshly cut flowers. Medium-bodied with a delicate fruity finish. Goes with medium-flavored simple seafood dishes, like: sauteed scallops salmon steak with seasoned vegetables, and linguine with lump crabmeat in a pink cream sauce. Also good by itself as an aperitif.

The Bennati Estate is located in the renowned Collio area of Friuli. Collio is recognized as the premier designated area for the Pinot Grigio varietal. The winery employs state of the art technology and knowledge to produce consistent, balanced wines.

The fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks under a controlled temperature environment. The wine is cellared for seven months prior to being released.
