Goldwater Pinot Noir
Earthy aroma when first opened. Raspberry, cocoa, mint, earth and even caramel notes contribute to an absolutely beautiful bouquet of aromas once the wine opens up. Juicy and delicious fruit with perfectly integrated spice and light tannins await your first sip. The finish lasts for a very long time and goes through stages of spicy black pepper, then fruit, and finally some lingering chocolate notes.

Goldwater Estate was established in 1978 by Kim & Jeanette Goldwater when they pioneered winegrowing on Waiheke Island. Using traditional winemaking techniques together with modern technology and the finest French oak, the Goldwater's produce handcrafted wines with vibrant fruit characters, harmonious balance, elegant structure and exceptional concentration.
This Pinot Noir shows the influence of our unique climate and complex soils. After harvesting, traditional plunging techniques were used during fermentation to ensure vibrant color and fine tannins. The wine was then aged in a mix of new and one-year old French oak bariques for a minimum of nine months.
