Pale yellow in color with green hints. Fruity aromas of peach and ripe fruit on the nose. On the palate there is a perfect equilibrium of acidity which is typical of this varietal. Full and round with an elegant minerality that flows to the finish. Pairs well with carpaccio, salmon, mussels and fried potatoes.

Azienda Agricola Poggiobello vineyards are located in a territory internationally recognized as one of Italy’s best for the production of white wine. Over the years, as part of the Le Tenute di Genagricola portfolio of wineries, significant land improvement projects have been made, creation of canals to drain rain water, construction of terraced vineyards and planting of new vineyards. This has allowed Poggiobello to become the largest single-plot winemaking company in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area.
The company boasts a surface area of 110-hectares, ninety of which host cultivated vineyards. It grows ancient indigenous varieties like Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Refosco, Verduzzo Friulano and Picolit (of which Poggiobello owns the largest portion of the Colli Orientali Consortium). The company also grows the most known international varieties such as Merlot and Sauvignon, which have been cultivated in this territory for centuries.
Grapes making this wine are softly pressed and skins are removed from the must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. The wine rests on the yeasts for about 6 months in steel tanks, and then rests in bottle for at least another 2 months.
