The Tre Venezie offers an ideal combination of geography and climate perfectly suited to producing high quality grapes. It is also the home of Italy's foremost center of viticultural study and research, the internationally renowned Istituto Agrario Provinciale at San Michele all'Adige.
Vineyards in this region benefit from the warming effects of the “Ora del Garda,” a dry, balmy breeze that sweeps across Lake Garda and protects the fruit from external moisture and disease. Cool evenings promote rich, intense aromas and flavors in the grapes.
Winemaking at Principato is overseen by Anselmo Martini, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience and one of Italy’s top enologists.
