Hardy's Cabernet Sauvignon
Rich purple in color, this wine begins with notes of plum and toasty oak that transcend into ripe berry and vanilla flavors with just a hint of licorice and tobacco. Bold and medium bodied, the finish is persistent and elegant.

Hardy’s has been around a long time, those folks know how to draw the best from their vineyards.
Thomas Hardy emigrated to Australia in 1850, a few short years after the land was settled by Europeans. In 1857 he shipped two barrels of wine back to England - the first Australian wine exports!
His winery has grown to one of the most important in Australia with access to over 5000 acres of prime vineyards in all of Australia’s best winegrowing regions.
This unparalleled resource gives Hardy the advantage of being able to produce wines of consistent quality year after year. If vineyards in one area suffer from bad weather during one vintage, that shortcoming can be compensated by selecting ripe, healthy grapes from a different area. Additionally, making use of diverse viticultural regions gives the wines a distinctly Australian character.
At Hardy’s, the grape’s aroma and flavor are the most important components of quality. They’re lucky enough to not have to worry about ripeness in sunny Australia!
The cellars contain all of the latest winemaking equipment, but their winemaking philosophy is founded on the belief that the winemaker cannot add flavor, merely use his or her knowledge to enhance the flavors that nature has provided.
